Music That Cathes Your Ear And Dance That Cathes Your Soul”

The Story Behind The 3 Things Neo Kizomba Represents

New Launch - 50fifty Bachata and Kizomba Social - beginning 14th March on the Berkshire Ballroom nr Reading. All events happen at completely different instances throughout the month on the final Friday of every month (Salsa), on the first Thursday of each month (Kizomba), on the second Saturday of each month (50/50 Bachata and Kizomba) and on the third Sunday of every month (Semba). Including an electronic music percussion with a slow and very sensual rhythm… kizomba was born. The description that suits kizomba the most effective for my part is the following: A music that catches your ear and a dance that catches your soul. That is the beauty of dancing - the intimacy starts with the music and ends with the music.

The music can be split equally 50 per cent Bachata and 50 per cent Kizomba - hence the identify 50/50. Basil playing the newest Bachata Mix and DJ Zeus enjoying the latest, Kizomba and Semba - guaranteed to maintain the dance floor shifting. Bachata is a style of dance that originated within the Dominican Republic - It is now danced everywhere in the world.

Genuine Bachata is the original manner of dancing Bachata, originating from the Dominican Republic where the music was born. Kizomba is a associate dance native to the African country of Angola, with influences from other Lusofone countries. It was first often known as Passada” (which means stepping” - a reference to the movement movement) and for having a sensuous rhythm. Within the 80's teams like Kassav or Zouk Machine infused a fast paced and extra African influenced sound into the music. Kizomba is in truth the results of an evolution: young generations, listening to traditional rhythms, felt one thing was missing - a modern and sensual touch.
